Zadar Christmas Market once again brings the magic of the holidays and top entertainment to the very heart of the city! This traditional and well-known event, which brings together locals and numerous visitors during the winter months, will take place this year from November 24, when the Feast of St. Chrysogonus, the patron saint of Zadar, is celebrated, all the way through the beginning of January.
For more than a month, the city will come alive with the spirit of the holidays – offering a rich entertainment program, a warm atmosphere, and excellent gastronomic specialties from Zadar’s caterers. The event is expanding to new locations as well: in addition to Trg Petra Zoranića and Trg Pet bunara, part of the program will, for the first time, take place in Zlatarska Street, on the plateau behind the Cedulin Palace, which will be transformed into a new festive gathering spot.
This year’s musical program will once again feature many popular domestic performers. Zadar Christmas Market opens with Ivica Sikirić Ićo on November 24, followed by Buđenje on November 28 and Marko Škugor on November 29. The December program kicks off on December 5 with Kuzma & Shaka Zulu, followed by Tajči on December 6. The Four Tenors will take the audience to another world on December 12, and Klapa Rišpet will bring back the Dalmatian spirit on December 13. The popular Dubrovnik band Silente performs on December 19, and beloved entertainer Jole on December 20. On Christmas Eve, performers from the popular TV shows A Strana & The Voice will fill Trg Petra Zoranića with music, and on Christmas Day, Grupa Forum & Ivana Kindl will bring festive cheer. On St. Stephen’s Day, the stage will welcome Vatra, and the program will conclude with Maja Šuput on December 27 and Elemental on December 29.
The second stage, located across from the market, will open on November 29 with Nipplepeople, followed by Mangroove on December 6, Jonathan on December 13, Porto Morto on December 20, and Gustafi on December 26.
