Step into the world of Iva and Gloria, two friends, mothers, and cleaners who harbor a secret ambition: to become actresses. Their work at the theater, even if it’s just cleaning, unexpectedly opens the stage door for them. As they stand under the spotlights, they are forced to confront their own realities and problems. Enchanted by the stage, set design, and props, they quickly abandon their cleaning duties to embody various characters from Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Split. With a humorous approach, they vividly portray the harsh realities and bitterness of everyday people – whether on the street, at a coffee shop, in their neighborhood, or even within their own families and circle of friends. While seemingly a pillar of support for each other, our heroines, through their portrayals, uncover many truths about themselves that will surface and challenge the very foundation of their friendship.
