The traditional cultural event, the Zadar Summer Theatre festival, has been a staple since 1995. The program unfolds in unique, open-air locations throughout the city of Zadar, with a primary focus on comedy.
Over its long history, the festival has produced 22 of its own shows and hosted over 200 visiting plays and performances from both Croatia and abroad.
Since 2015, the event has expanded to include a vibrant music program: the three-day Zadar Jazz & Blues Festival. This addition has brought renowned world musicians to the stage, including legends like Brian Auger, Trilok Gurtu, Fred Wesley, and Eric Bibb.
